This week the Mark Longstreet Photography team photographed the wedding of Casey Hugo and Mike Richardson at the Canby Wedding Chapel in Canby, Oregon. This couple has been together eleven years and have been such a pleasure to work with this past year of their engagement! This was one crafty bride, as she not only envisioned a vintage inspired, shabby chic wedding, but also handmade most of the decor herself!  The bride’s beautiful, mermaid, lace wedding gown was a Maggie Sottero, purchased at Charlottes Weddings in Beaverton. The brides shoes were custom made in Europe with antique lace. From head to toe, Casey looked stunning! With the friendships they’ve built as a couple over the years and all of their families, there was so much love present at this wedding!

Mark and the Mark Longstreet Photography team photographed the wedding of  Stacey and Matt at Inn at Diamond Woods located on Territorial Road in Monroe, Oregon. Stacy’s beautiful Allure Bridals, lace wedding gown was purchased at Blush Bridal Boutique in Eugene, Oregon. The groom and groomsmen wore tuxedos from Men’s Warehouse. When we asked the Bride how her experience with Mark has been she said, “Mark was amazing. During the wedding he was so on top of it making sure we were moving along to get everything we needed to get done. He was a blast taking the pictures and everyone was laughing and cracking jokes…Mark was fun and charismatic and everyone enjoyed him and felt at ease around him. He went above and beyond and ended up bringing another photographer and the crazy booth which we hadn’t prearranged. He also did a time lapse of the weather changing throughout the day which I thought was a really great way to make the best out of a stressful situation with the weather. It gave us something to look forward to out of the stormy weather.”

Brittney and Jeff’s Oregon Garden Wedding at Atavista Farm was beautiful! The restored 1876 Italianate Victorian farmhouse is a perfect backdrop for intimate and large weddings alike! Mark was able to get great photos of the bride and her wedding party indoors and outdoors!

When asked what the best advice she received on the wedding day was, she told me that it came from Mark! He had told her, “Don’t let anything mess up your day. Just keep smiling.” Britney and Jeff definitely took his advice and had the best day!

Brittney and Jeff tie the knot in front of a vintage gazebo, next to a restored 1876 Italianate Victorian farmhouse at Atavista Farm, located in the historic Brownsville, Oregon. 8 years ago, Brittney was asking Jeff if he would go to the prom with her. Fast forward 7 years and Jeff was asking her another very important question! We loved working with this couple! Their wedding party was so much fun! Atavista Farm staff is wonderful to work with and the property makes for great Oregon wedding photography!
